Drifters - Part 025A dark red cloaked and finely dressed man carrying some of his things trudged through the knee deep snow. The designer shoes he had paid so much for were nearly ruined. Most of the doors in the buildings he passed were closed. There were even notes and signs that declared today a 'snow day'. It was unusual to declare such a day in a place that receives constant powder. Sergio finished his whisky on the rocks and saw someone working towards the door. Swiveling the bar stool he tipped the bartender and got to his feet. Walking inside the bar and grill the man pulled back the shadowing hood of his cloak.

Drifters - Part 024"Aaaahhh!" Melissa screamed.   Falling face first with barely any time to close her eyes. It was the last thing she expected. She belly flopped into a prickly yellow hay bale. Too tired to move, think or feel Melissa fell asleep. The next morning Melissa woke to hear a rooster crow at the morning sun. Not seeing any light from her perspective Melissa casually closed her eyes and dozed off once more. Finally it was nearly mid-day and the heat woke Melissa up. Feeling the makeshift bed each strand poked through her clothes and scratched her skin. Pushing away she got off the hay bale.   Melissa yanked the strands stuck in he Drifters - Part 024

Drifters - Part 025 is up for our reading pleasure. Thanks for reading. I'd like to personally thank my girlfriend Melissa for being with me and a part of the story. I'd also like to send great thanks to my friends Kami-ko and Matt for being a part of everything as well. If it were not for these people this project would have failed. Also thanks to Kiana and Jesse for being in the story as well.
I've also uploaded a pic of my car Subie. It is too effing cold here in Western Nevada. The low for tomorrow is a forcasted -1 F. Really!?!? It coule be worse. I have friends that live in the outer valeys. Their area temps are lower.
